Be Respectful
- •We welcome creatives from all backgrounds and experience levels
- •Hate speech, discriminatory behavior, harassment, bullying, or personal attacks will not be tolerated
- •Treat fellow members with professionalism and respect
- •Keep disagreements constructive and focused on ideas, not individuals
Keep It Relevant
- •Keep discussions focused on creative work, storytelling, entertainment, media, and professional development
- •Avoid unrelated content, excessive off-topic discussions, or chain messages
No Politics or Activism
- •This is not a space for political debates, campaigning, lobbying, or organizing political or social movements
- •Let’s keep the focus on creativity, collaboration, and community
No Spam
- •Share your work, but avoid repetitive promotional posts
- •Do not flood the chat with links, advertisements, or repeated messages
- •Quality over quantity
No Unsolicited Sales or Recruiting
- •Do not pitch services, products, courses, investments, or businesses to members unless they have expressed interest
- •No MLMs, crypto promotions, fundraising solicitations, or unrelated sales pitches
- •Please do not use member information for marketing purposes
- •Please do not send unsolicited promotional direct messages to community members
Opportunities & Collaborations
- •Be transparent when posting jobs, casting calls, crew calls, workshops, or events
- •Clearly communicate compensation when possible
- •If a role is unpaid, deferred, volunteer, or profit-share, please state that clearly
- •Treat fellow members professionally
Respect Privacy & Creative Work
- •Do not share another member’s personal information without their permission
- •Respect intellectual property and properly credit collaborators
- •Do not share private conversations, scripts, recordings, or unpublished work without consent
Community Disclaimer
- •Members may share events, workshops, screenings, networking opportunities, and collaborations
- •The Artist Network does not vet, endorse, organize, supervise, or guarantee any member-posted event, opportunity, collaboration, or business arrangement unless explicitly stated otherwise
- •Participation in any event, collaboration, or business arrangement is at your own discretion and risk
Moderation
- •Moderators may remove posts or members that repeatedly violate these guidelines or negatively impact the community
- •Our goal is to maintain a welcoming, professional, and collaborative environment
